Join us for Storybox Craft Club, a relaxed monthly gathering for anyone who enjoys getting creative, meeting like minded people, or simply taking a little time out of their day to try something new.

Craft Club is all about creating a welcoming and inclusive space where you can sit around the table, craft at your own pace, chat with others or enjoy some quiet creative time. Each month we'll explore a different creative activity with the support of a local maker or artist.

In this session, Laura from Remnant Magic will introduce the basics of sewing in a friendly and approachable way to help you make your own insulated mug cosy. Whether you've never picked up a needle before or just want a refresher, this is a great opportunity to learn from an experienced maker in a small group setting. If you've joined us before, feel free to join again and continue developing your sewing skills with us.

The session will take place in either our packing room area or studio space while the shop remains open as usual and depending on numbers (meet at the Storybox shop).

Laura is the maker behind Remnant Magic, creating beautiful textile pieces while championing creativity, sustainability and the joy of making by hand. She loves helping people build confidence with sewing and discover how rewarding simple stitching projects can be.

Atmosphere & Accessibility

This is a casual, beginner friendly session designed to be welcoming and pressure free. Come on your own or bring a friend. There is no expectation to be chatty, just come along and enjoy some creative time. The session takes place in our packing room area at Storybox while the shop remains open.

Tickets

Spaces are very limited to keep the group small and relaxed, so advance booking is essential. Your £10 ticket helps cover materials and supports us to continue running affordable creative events.
